“What did you want to prove?”, “What s the point?”, “Strong and independent?” ; – and other questions that were often asked to us, prompted to explain to those who do not understand why it was suddenly the girls wanted to go to the women s camp.
After writing articles on the topic of women s camping¹ I was faced with the fact that not everyone understands the meaning of such a vacation.
First, there was a lot of security condemnation . They say that there are many inadequate locals near the places for recreation, and men just might be tempted, realizing that we are alone.

that we are engaged in some absurd activity … Since we have gathered in the forest without men, it means that we want to prove something to someone. And we may be man-haters altogether.
Especially for people from the second group, I will list the reasons that prompted me at one time to decide on the first women s camping and already spurred us (!) to get ready for the women s camp for the second time.
Atmosphere
The women s camp both times took place with us in incredibly cozy atmosphere . This was facilitated by decorations, garlands, blankets, beautiful dishes …

And I understand that no one forbids us to create comfort on a common camp, but here it turned out that each of us tried to equip the place and make our stay more “ warm and “ pleasant. We did not agree . It s different with men.
Women s company
I think there is no need to explain that, at least occasionally, nice to be in same-sex company … Here both men and women can understand me. And everyone finds something of their own in this.

You might think that getting together with an overnight stay could just be at someone's place. And you can create comfort there, and communicate only with girls. But then one of us would play for the mistress (not to mention the fact that we need to put our household members somewhere).
In the case of camping we are all hostesses: everyone does something to organize the table, prepare food and so on. And if it seems to you that a lot of housewives is a nightmare, then I have two proofs that this is not so (two women s campsites). Well, or two exceptions to the rule.

When you change the environment, then you relax . And when you change it so much that you leave for the forest for two nights, then household chores and possible problems evaporate for a while. And this is a great respite and an opportunity to replenish your resource.
Adventure
And yes, we had no experience of going out into nature without men. Therefore, organizing women s camping has become a real adventure for us. Even a gamble. We made our way through uneven and washed-out roads, chopping wood, making fires, pitching tents and cooking on the grill.

For some it is not difficult, for us it was exciting . We did it, were satisfied with ourselves, satisfied with each other and infected with energy for a long time.

I think if I continue to analyze what happened, and what we originally wanted to achieve, then I will find more reasons and more advantages of this type of vacation. But what has already been written is enough to explain your point of view.
